Katsuo Goto, professionally known as G-Conkarah is a record producer, mix engineer, beatmaker, entertainer and DJ based in Nagoya,Japan.
He began his musical journey as a selector and MC in a local sound system crew called Guiding Star in early ’90s.
After experiencing the pleasure of producing music through dubplate recordings, he transitioned into music production in earnest in late 2002.
He has worked with legendary artists and musicians including Sugar Minott, Leroy Sibbles , Cornell Campbell , U-Roy , Brigadier Jerry, Josey Wales, Junior Cat , Ward 21 , Spragga Benz , Luciano, Lukie D, Nahki, globe , Steely & Clevie , Sly & Robbie and many more.
In addition, he has also collaborated with some of hip-hop artists such as TOKONA-X , “E”qual of M.O.S.A.D. , Ak-69 A.K.A.Kalassy Nikoff and DJ RYOW in hometown.. A banger he collaborated on for M.O.S.A.D., titled E.A.T. (feat. G-Conkarah) became a classic in the Japanese hip-hop world.
The reggae school in Jamaica that he attended taught him a broad perspective on other music genres as well.
As a result, his blend of Dancehall, Reggae, Hip-Hop, RnB and Afrobeats makes his craft unique and extraordinary.
In recent years, he has also been active as a vocalist under the influence of his longtime heroes, such as 2Pac , RZA , Wu-Tang Clan , Fela Kuti , Bob Marley , Super Cat and Ninjaman .
“Conquer the hearts of the people with truth and love” is the concept of his music.
