Katsuo ‘G-Conkarah’ Goto
Record Producer, Mix Emgineer, Beat Maker, Entertainer and DJ

Katsuo Goto, professionally known as G-Conkarah is a record producer, mix engineer, beatmaker, entertainer and DJ based in Nagoya,Japan.
He began his musical journey as a selector and MC in a local sound system crew called Guiding Star in early ’90s.
After experiencing the pleasure of producing music through dubplate recordings, he transitioned into music production in earnest in late 2002.
He has worked with legendary artists and musicians including Sugar Minott, Leroy Sibbles , Cornell Campbell , U-Roy , Brigadier Jerry, Josey Wales, Junior Cat , Ward 21 , Spragga Benz , Luciano, Lukie D, Nahki, globe , Steely & Clevie , Sly & Robbie and many more.

In addition, he has also collaborated with some of hip-hop artists such as TOKONA-X , “E”qual of M.O.S.A.D. , Ak-69 A.K.A.Kalassy Nikoff , DJ RYOW and DJ Hazu in hometown. He is one of the pioneers mixing dancehall and reggae with hip-hop.

The reggae school in Jamaica that he attended taught him a broad perspective on other music genres as well.
As a result, his blend of Dancehall, Reggae, Hip-Hop, RnB and Afrobeats makes his craft unique and extraordinary.

In recent years, he has also been active as a vocalist under the influence of his longtime heroes, such as 2Pac , RZA , Wu-Tang Clan , Fela Kuti , Bob Marley , Super Cat and Ninjaman .

G-Conkarahとして知られる後藤克男は、名古屋を拠点にするプロデュサー、ミックスエンジニア、ビートメーカー、エンターテイナー、DJ。
90年代初頭にGuiding Starという地元のサウンドシステムクルーのセレクター、MCとして音楽の旅を始める。
ダブプレートレコーディングで音楽を制作する喜びを知った後、2002年後半に本格的に音楽制作に移行。
Sugar Minott, Leroy Sibbles , Cornell Campbell , U-Roy , Brigadier Jerry, Josey Wales, Junior Cat , Ward 21 , Spragga Benz , Luciano, Lukie D, Nahki, globe , Steely & Clevie , Sly & Robbieなどの伝説的なアーティストやミュージシャンと仕事をしてきた。
また、M.O.S.A.D.のTOKONA-X、’E’qual、Ak-69 a.k.a. Kalassy Nikoff、DJ RYOW、刃頭など同郷のヒップホップアーティストともコラボレートしている。彼はダンスホールとレゲエをヒップホップに融合させた先駆者の一人です。
彼が通っていたジャマイカのレゲエスクールは、彼に他の音楽ジャンルについても幅広い視点を教えてくれた。
その結果ダンスホール、レゲエ、ヒップホップ、R&B、アフロビートのブレンドは、彼のクラフトをユニークで並外れたものにしている。
近年は、2Pac,RZA, Wu-Tang Clan, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Super Cat,Ninjamanなど長年のヒーローの影響下の元、ボーカリストとしても活躍中。
